Rain that builds from September to December
July and August share the driest figure, 23 mm each. From September the rain rises every month to December, the wettest month at 115 mm, and the three summer months are the wettest of the year. March, at 78 mm, is still a wet month as autumn begins, and across an average year the station takes in 764 mm.
The days warm every month from August to November, and the nights every month from September to January, a month behind them. December, at 31.0°C, joins January as a hot month, and February's nights are as warm as January's. June and July share the year's coolest days, and August's nights are as cold as July's.
A dry April between wetter neighbours
Spring at Amberley is both the warmer season and the wetter, with 177 mm against autumn's 169 mm. Its days warm every month and its rain rises every month, from a dry September to 82 mm in November. Autumn is less orderly. After March its days cool every month, but its rain falls away in April and returns in May, which is wetter than April and June on either side.
